A mini miracle talent show organizer from Sask DLC will reach out to you by January 30 to discuss next steps.
All students are welcome to submit a talent show entry; however, because the talent show will be shown on Sask DLC's social media, Sask DLC's talent show committee will review all submissions and select a group of performances to be featured in the live show.
We’re excited to see the creativity and talent students share, and we appreciate everyone who takes part by submitting their talent.
ON the day of the talent show, all student participants will be invited to the talent show through a Teams link. You will wait with a Sask DLC staff member in Teams until you are brought on screen. The hosts will introduce you to our audience with a short, fun interview then your pre-recorded talent will be played.
No, this is a showcase of your talent.
We want to give as many people a chance to show their talent as possible. If your submission is longer than two minutes, please let us know the two minutes that you would like showcased.
Yes, if your talent is a group performance with others who are not Sask DLC students you're still welcome to submit. A permission form will need to be signed by their parents. Please note that we will only be interviewing you though.
Apart from your first name and grade, you get to tell us what to talk about, such as how you learned your skill, what you enjoy about it, or why you chose that talent to showcase. We'll keep the interview short and simple, but you can also choose not to be interviewed. No other information about you will be shared.
If you have an amazing piece like a lego structure or art construction etc, you might want to show us the finished product and explain in your talent show video submission how you did it or show us some parts of it.
Anyone who attends the talent show will see your performance, as well as potentially your class if your teacher shares it in a class meeting. It will also be shared on Sask DLC's social media.
