On Friday, December 12, our Grades 7–9 students participated in a full day of experiential learning with visits to Remai Modern, the Canadian Light Source, and the Diefenbaker Centre. Through hands-on art and science experiences, students explored creativity, real-world research, and Canadian history, while deepening their understanding of culture, careers, civics, and human rights. Despite the cold weather, 34 participants—including students and their family members (parents and siblings)—attended the field trip. Throughout the day, students were respectful, curious, and engaged, demonstrating enthusiasm for learning beyond the classroom.
Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre provides Kindergarten to Grade 12 courses to Saskatchewan students who choose to study online. We empower students and families to choose the learning environment that works best for them, while supporting their graduation plan.
