Jasmine, a Grade 11 student, is a powerhouse of resilience and perseverance. Despite navigating a new diagnosis and mental health issues and wellness concerns, she attends school every day with an optimistic spirit and a great sense of humour. Jasmine has shown incredible maturity while balancing personal sacrifices with a dedication to her well-being. She is currently trying to master coping mechanisms and stress management.
Jasmine maintains an impressive 85%+ average in her Sask DLC online courses. Having already conquered Mental Wellness 30, Life Transitions 30, Environmental Science 20 and Indigenous Studies 30, she is currently excelling in Law 30 and Psychology 20 while simultaneously earning in-class school credits with hopes to graduate a semester early.
Outside the classroom, Jasmine is a force of nature. She is a competitive dancer with a total of 11 different dances including jazz, hip hop, ballet, contemporary, lyrical and more. Jasmine is also a self-taught musician in piano and flute, and is currently learning to play the guitar. She recently celebrated the major milestone of earning her driver’s license!
Jasmine, your persistence and gratitude for life are an inspiration to us all. Keep shining!
